Welcome to Worship at Simpsonville Christian Church

We worship together each Sunday at

Central to our church’s life is worship, when the entire congregation gathers to hear God’s Word, to celebrate what God has done and to offer prayers and praise to God.
In worship, active participation is emphasized more than passive reception of a given teaching, and the community is emphasized more than the individual.

Gathering to Worship God

We gather each Sunday morning at 10:50am to worship, praise and glorify our Lord. Every Sunday there is prayer, hymn singing, special music, a children and youth message, sermon and communion among other things.

As members of the Disciples of Christ denomination we host communion every Sunday. We believe that whenever two or more are gathered communion should be shared. The Lord's table is open to all who feel God calling them.

The sermons are generally delivered by one of the staff members, however, our laity have been known to set into the pulpit and deliver a powerful and faith challenging sermon. Sermons are based of the Christian year and often times there are sermon series on a variety of topics.

Nursery

A well equipped nursery is provided during the morning service for infants through 4 year olds. The nursery is staffed by at least two people who are either parents or interested members of the congregation.
